Mount Pleasant Square is the most charming and sleepy of Dublin’s Georgian squares. Completed in the 1830s, this elegant refuge is within walking distance of Grafton Street. Author of A Little History of Dublin (Merrion Press) and museum founder Trevor White leads an exclusive walking tour for the festival. Trevor Robertson White was born in Dublin in 1972. Educated at Sandford Park, St Columba’s College and Trinity College, he worked as a journalist in London and New York before launching The Dubliner magazine in 2001. Ten years later he founded the award-winning Little Museum of Dublin, where the story of the city is told in a collection created by public donation. He is the author of three plays and seven books, including The Dubliner Diaries, Malton’s Views of Dublin and Alfie: The Life and Times of Alfie Byrne.
