The Year of the Locust (Bantam), the second novel from internationally bestselling author of I Am Pilgrim and multi-award winning Hollywood screenwriter, Terry Hayes, transports us to the badlands where the borders of Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan meet, where CIA spy Kane travels to exfiltrate a man with vital information for the safety of the West – but instead he meets an adversary who will take the world to the brink of extinction. With screenplays including Mad Max 2 – Road Warrior, Dead Calm, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, Payback, From Hell and Vertical Limit to his name, drawing on a wealth of experience in bringing action, suspense and thrilling tension to audiences, Terry will be in conversation with critic, journalist and broadcaster Alex Clark about his ground-breaking new novel.
