Join author Alan Nolan for a thrilling scavenger hunt around the grounds of Dublin Castle based on his latest book Molly Malone & Bram Stoker in Double Trouble at the Dead Zoo (The O’Brien Press). Hear all about Molly and Bram, and follow the clues left by the dread (and slightly dead) Irish pirate Captain Lamprey and his stuffed animal shipmates to find his mythical lost treasure – the Rajapur Ruby!
This event is booked out, however as it is a free event people may not turn up on the day and we will allow walk-ups on the day subject to availability and based on first come, first serve.
Alan Nolan grew up in Windy Arbour, Dublin and now lives in Bray, Co. Wicklow with his wife and three children. Alan’s funny and exciting new series of adventures featuring young Molly Malone and Bram Stoker includes The Sackville Street Caper and Double Trouble at the Dead Zoo. Alan is the author and illustrator of Fintan’s Fifteen, Conor’s Caveman and the Sam Hannigan series, and the illustrator of Animal Crackers written by Sarah Webb. Alan runs illustration and writing workshops for children, and you may see him lugging his drawing board and pencils around your school or local library.
