These Are My People Poetry Walking Tour BOOKED OUT Breda Wall Ryan
In Partnership with Science Foundation Ireland
Join award-winning poet Breda Wall Ryan for a walk through the beautiful surrounds of the National Botanic Gardens, pausing along the way for poems from her third poetry collection These Are My People (Doire Press). In this collection Breda explores themes of family ties, relationships and one’s connection to the natural world, ultimately coming to the conclusion that she belongs to the Earth and that the Earth belongs to her, that all living things are her people.
The meeting point for this event is at the entrance of the main Visitor Centre.
This event is supported by Science Foundation Ireland as part of Science Week 2023.
