    Join Chris Haughton and Muireann Ní Chíobháin for this giant storytime. Chris will share his new book, Well Done, Mummy Penguin and show how he created the distinctive, colourful artwork. Muireann will share her latest book, Murphy’s Law, about one very unlucky dog!

    Chris Haughton is an award-winning Irish author/illustrator based in London. He has written and illustrated six bestselling picture books: A Bit Lost, Oh No, George!, Shh! We Have a Plan, Goodnight Everyone, Don’t Worry, Little Crab and Maybe, all published by Walker Books. His latest book is Well Done, Mummy Penguin. 


    Muireann Ní Chíobháin is an author, storyteller and performer. You might also see her bouncing about your TV sometimes on RTÉjr and TG4. She has published 4 books to date – Scúnc agus Smúirín (Futa Fata), GIY’s Know-it-ALLmanac (GIY), Eoinín (Futa Fata) and Murphy’s Law (O’Brien Press).


    WonderFest is an online children’s book festival that aims to celebrate and promote Irish books. It was set up in 2020 and is run by a team of Irish children’s writers and illustrators. WonderFest 2022 will take place from 9th to 13th November in partnership with Dublin Book Festival and supported by dlr Libraries.

    There are a range of events for schools, an event for young writers and a webinar for new and emerging children’s writers.
