Dagogo Hart is a poet, writer, playwright, performer and spoken-word artist. His poetry is inspired by his hometown of Lagos, Nigeria, and his experiences since moving to Ireland. He co-founded the poetry collective WeAreGriot with poet FeliSpeaks. He performs at festivals, open mics and poetry slams, and is an All-Ireland Poetry Slam finalist. His work has been published in The Moth and UCC’s Motley magazine, but this is his first children’s book. He lives in Portlaoise with his wife and young child.
