Roll up your sleeves and join scientist Dr Shane Bergin for an exciting adventure from The Experimenters: Luke and Ruby’s Scientific Sleepover (Little Island Books)! Luke and Ruby are visiting their grandparents, who teach them how to do science and explore the world around them. This indoor event will test your reaction speeds, just like Luke and Ruby did in one of their science adventures. Ready to join in and help solve a science mystery? Dr Shane needs your help!

This event takes place in the Creativity Hub by the main reception of IMMA.
Dr Shane is a scientist. He loves to use his imagination, to do experiments and play, and to figure out how the world works. He works at University College Dublin where he does research and teaches students who enjoy science. Shane enjoys going on the radio to talk about science. He and his students run a science and music programme for children with the National Concert Hall called Quavers to Quadratics.In 2022, Shane and his friend Declan wrote a storybook for children called Peigí’s Adventures in Science.
