From the moment Sheena Wilkinson discovered Malory Towers as a young reader, she was hooked on school stories. Malory Towers, St Clare’s, the Chalet School. Adventure, friendship, the fabled midnight feasts, and much more. Sheena wrote her PhD thesis on girls’ school stories and remains a life-long fan. She is the author of nine novels for children and young adults. A bookworm and history geek, Sheena lives in Co. Derry with her husband, stepson and two dogs. She is happiest when reading, writing or walking the dogs – when she’s often making up stories anyway. Her latest book is True Friends at Fernside, the second book in the Fernside series.
