Established within 6 months of the foundation of the RDS in 1731, the RDS Library & Archives is one of the most beautiful libraries in Dublin and one of its best kept secrets! It holds a vast collection including (but not limited to) the corporate archives of the RDS dating back to the 18th century, which are rich in material relating to Irish agriculture, arts, science and industry.
Entrance
The venue is entered off Merrion Road, a busy road with plenty of restaurants and cafés which leads in towards Dublin City. The entrance to the venue is fully accessible.
