Open Call
As planning continues, we are delighted to open our call for submissions to take part in Dublin Book Festival 2026, taking place 4 – 8 November in venues around Dublin. We welcome submissions from authors, poets, illustrators, publishers, cultural organisations and community groups, with an expression of interest to participate in this year’s flagship festival.
About Dublin Book Festival
Dublin Book Festival is one of Ireland’s most successful and vibrant book festivals, established in 2006. The festival is a celebration of the very best of Ireland’s writers, publishers, illustrators, and literary community as a whole, bringing book-loving audiences together with Ireland’s most renowned writers, as well as the most exciting emerging voices.
Submissions
Dublin Book Festival welcomes applications that reflect Ireland’s contemporary writing, illustrating and book community and, in particular, welcomes applications from, or around, writers and artists typically underrepresented in Irish literature.
Submissions can be made directly via our online Submissions Form.
Submissions close Monday 27 April at 5pm.
For any queries ahead of application, or guidance in completing the form, please do not hesitate in contacting DBF on info@dublinbookfestival.com.
Successful applicants only will be contacted by June.
Please note all final invites will be issued by our Festival Director and we will never request a payment for making a submission/securing a spot on our programme.
