Carmel Uí Cheallaigh is the author of ten children’s books in Irish and English. Her first picture book Spidey was published by Cló Mhaigh Eo in 2012. She loves reading and writing picture books and reading and researching Irish history books and has been successfully published in both these genres. She is originally from Co. Mayo and now lives in Co. Wicklow.
