#DBF2018 Launch: Ask an Author!Published 07/11/2018
Do you have a question you would love to ask an author?
Maybe about a character in their book?
A plot twist?
What they think happens to the characters after the book ends?
How they first got published?
Well now is your chance
To celebrate the launch of Dublin Book Festival 2018
this Friday 9th November
at Eason O’Connell Street
nine authors taking part in the festival will be open to any and all questions!
from 12.30pm – 1.30pm
A cosy seating area with two chairs will be set up inside the door of Eason O’Connell Street and between 12.30pm – 1.30pm different authors will in turn take a seat. If you have a question you would like to ask come along for your chance to take your turn to sit with them, ask them your question and receive a free copy of their new book.
If you can’t make it you can still be in with a chance to ask your question. Just post / tweet the name of the author and your question to @dublinbookfestival and the team will ask some of the questions received.
The authors / illustrators taking part will be Luke O’Neill, Joanna Donnelly and Fuchsia MacAree, Martina Devlin, Arnold Thomas Fanning, Danielle McLaughlin, Ciaran Carty, Peter Donnelly and Carmel Harrington. Also taking part will be publisher Ivan O’Brien
Please note time is limited so this will be on a first come basis and while we will try to get through as many questions as possible we cannot guarantee that everyone who attends will have a chance to do so. Copies of books will only be given to those who do get the chance to sit and ask their question.
