At our festival Book Clinic we can recommend great novels and poetry, short stories and non-fiction in Irish, for all levels and interests, and a few bilingual books in your prescription too!

This is a drop-in event with limited capacity. Time slots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Anna Heussaff has won loyal readers, critical praise and many awards for her lively novels in Irish for adults and young teens. Her fourth crime novel, Sa Pholl Báite, is set in Dublin 8 and on the Beara peninsula in west Cork. Turas Róise, her latest novel for teens also appeals to adult learners as it takes on big issues in a light style. It’s available on screen and audio at Leighleat.com, and in print. Anna is a former radio and television producer with RTÉ and broadcasts on Raidió na Gaeltachta on literature, travel and the climate crisis.
