Calling all trainee banshees! Join author Sinéad O’Hart for a magical, fun-filled adventure inspired by the Ellora McGee, Trainee Banshee books (Gill Books). Meet a host of Irish magical creatures, from leprechauns and pookas to merrows, fairies, trolls and of course, banshees! Discover the weird and wonderful food at Ellora’s magical school, practise your very best banshee wail, and learn how to draw Ellora and her fabulous, wacky hair. Come along, get creative and find out if you have what it takes to be a Trainee Banshee!
Age guideline: 5 – 8 yrs

Sinéad O’Hart is a writer and podcaster (Storyshaped), with six books for readers aged 8+ to her name (The Eye of the North, Skyborn, The Star-Spun Web, The Time Tider, The Silver Road and Sword of the Sun) and a series for younger readers, Lola and Larch. Ellora McGee Trainee Banshee: The New School was nominated for the An Post Irish Book Awards Children’s Book of the Year (Junior) in 2025.
