Festival Launch Photoshoot at Poolbeg Lighthouse

Tomorrow marks the beginning of our DBF2022 Festival Week, with our first event happening Tuesday November 8th, so what better way to celebrate than with the reveal of this amazing mural down by Poolbeg Lighthouse, commissioned especially by Dublin Port Company for the festival?! Author David Hare and illustrator Jennifer Farley were joined by Jack Siron and Doireann Doyle as they went down to check out Andrew Greaves putting the finishing touches to the mural designed by Jennifer.

David will have an exhibition of images from his new book The Great Lighthouses of Ireland (Gill Books) on display at the festival hub in The Printworks, Dublin Castle next weekend, while Jennifer will be leading a drawalong for all the family.
