Two New Summer Events at Farmleigh Announced

We are delighted to announce two new summer events, taking place at Farmleigh in the Phoenix Park this August Bank Holiday Weekend.

On Sunday 4 August, author Christy Boylan, who holds a wealth of experience in landscape architecture and urban parks, will be in conversation about his illuminating forthcoming book, The Parks and Gardens of Dublin, which charts the history and development of over 120 parks and gardens in Dublin, each of which has an interesting story. This is a free event with booking required. Full details and registration here.

For a second year running DBF, in partnership with Farmleigh and the OPW, will be bringing you a Family Fun Day on the beautiful lawns at Farmleigh on Monday 5 August, jam-packed with book and creative events for all the family to enjoy. Featuring Niamh Donnellan, Shane Hegarty, Emma-Jane Leeson, Leona Forde, Muireann Ní Chíobháin, Alan Nolan, Children’s Books Ireland and Music Generation Dublin City, join us for a super fun and interactive day of storytelling, readings, illustration, music, crafts, a book clinic, and more. This is a free event with booking required. Full details and registration here.
